Oso Burrito Boy

Oso is a 5-year-old German Shepherd/Hound mix with soulful eyes and a heart of gold. He's a gentle and quiet boy who loves deeply, and once he chooses you, you become his whole world. He's a master of relaxation, enjoying comfy naps, leisurely walks, and car rides. Oso is wonderfully low-maintenance and low-energy, not needing constant entertainment. He coexists peacefully with other dogs and shows great promise with cats, preferring to give them space. He's also an excellent passenger for any adventure. While Oso can be shy and nervous when meeting new people or in unfamiliar situations, with a little patience, kindness, and treats, his sweet, silly, and loving personality truly blooms. He's looking for someone willing to give him a chance to build a bond based on trust, loyalty, and deep affection.

Ideal Home

Oso would thrive in a home where he can move at his own pace when meeting new people. He's happy as an only pet or with canine companions and is likely to do well with cat-savvy felines.

Training & Support

Oso is generally well-behaved and has excellent canine manners. He can be a little shy when meeting new people and appreciates being allowed to approach new introductions on his own terms.

Oso is currently in Texas and can be transported nationwide via the rescue's transport system to various drop-off locations across the US and Canada.
