Witness

Witness is a charming 2-year-old, 55 lb gentleman who came to us as an owner surrender. He had a brief and overwhelming experience in a previous home, which unfortunately led to him becoming sick. Fortunately, we were able to rescue Witness just hours before his scheduled euthanasia and have been providing him with the care he needs to heal.

Now that he's safe and on the mend, Witness has revealed himself to be a true couch potato who cherishes being close to his people. He absolutely loves to cuddle, enjoys leisurely car rides, and is a delight to walk on leash. While he's a sweet boy, Witness is still a bit of a work in progress and can be a little wary of strangers. New friends will need to approach him with patience and allow him to warm up at his own pace through slow introductions.

Ideal Home

Witness would thrive in a calm and predictable environment where he can feel secure. Patient adopters who can provide consistency will help him continue to build his confidence.

Ongoing Health

Witness was treated for CIRDC and is now healing. He is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Witness is a bit shy with new people and requires slow introductions. With patience and understanding, he will blossom into an even more confident companion.

Witness is currently being fostered in NYC. He is available for local or out-of-state adoption and can also be considered for a full-time foster home.
