Hi there, I'm Jace, a handsome 55-pound bulldog mix with striking white and brown markings! I'm as sweet as can be and my favorite pastime is snuggling up next to my favorite person for belly rubs and head scratches. I'm a smart cookie too, and I've already mastered "sit," "down," and "leave it." I'm super food-motivated, so I'm eager to learn even more commands – anything for a tasty treat!
When it comes to playtime, I love my Kong filled with kibble or peanut butter, chewing on bones, and romping with stuffed animals. Fetch is fun, though I sometimes forget the "give" part of the game! Tug-of-war is another favorite. I'm ready to be your best friend and will happily follow you around the house, just wanting to chill by your side. I'm a bit of a goober and don't quite realize how big I am – I'll try to hop right into your lap just to be close!
Ideal Home
I'm looking for a home where I can be your devoted companion. While I love to cuddle, please know that I'm not good with other dogs, likely due to past fear rather than true aggression. I also have a sensitive spot when it comes to my food and can guard it, especially around cats.
Ongoing Health
I had an old injury on one side of my face that caused it to not fill in completely, but it doesn't affect my loving nature one bit! I've been neutered, vaccinated, and have completed heartworm treatment.
Training & Support
I'm already potty and crate trained and walk wonderfully on a leash. My past experiences mean I can guard my food, so patience and understanding around meal times will be key.
