Oreo is a one-year-old mystery mix, a delightful blend of American Staffordshire Terrier, Australian Cattle Dog, and American Pit Bull Terrier, with a sprinkle of other breeds thrown in! He's about 55-60 lbs and ready to be your ultimate companion, whether for car rides or couch snuggles. Oreo had a tough start, being found abandoned, but his sweet and social nature shines through. He's a pro at car rides and a gentleman around people and other dogs. After a short burst of energy, he's content to relax, making him surprisingly low-maintenance. He's already catching on to house training and seems to enjoy watching TV – Clifford the Big Red Dog is a current favorite! Once he discovered couches, he became a world-class cuddler. He also has a funny quirk of putting his front paws in his water bowl while drinking, adding to his charm.
Ideal Home
Oreo is great with other dogs and has a sweet disposition. Because he's still young and enthusiastic, he can jump up to greet people, so a home with children aged 10 and up would be best. He hasn't met a cat yet, but we can test him if you have feline friends.
Ongoing Health
Oreo is fully vetted and ready for his forever home. His adoption includes:
- Neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all vaccinations (Rabies, DHLPP, and Bordetella).
- Recently dewormed and on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
- Will receive a fresh health certificate exam and fecal exam within 10 days of travel.
Training & Support
Oreo has shown good house manners during recent home visits. He enjoys car rides and is social with people and dogs.
