Phillip

Meet Phillip, a 50-pound Staffy mix with a heart as big as his love for plushie toys! Phillip is a champion toy-flinger and a superstar at bath time. While he can be a little shy initially, he's gaining confidence daily and his leash manners are improving. He's great with other dogs of all sizes and friendly with men and women. Phillip does get nervous when hands are raised quickly, so a patient home that can show him hands are for pets will be ideal.

Phillip has a moderate to high energy level and enjoys daily exercise and mental stimulation through walks or puzzle toys. He is crate-trained, does not dig, but loves his chew toys, so supervised play is a must. Phillip knows "sit" and is working on his impulse control when treats are involved. He's a work in progress who will blossom with love and patience.

Ideal Home

A home that will give Phillip the space to grow into a confident, happy dog. A home with children 10 years and over is recommended.

Phillip is working on leash manners, impulse control with treats, and building confidence. He is not a fan of hands being raised quickly.
