Mason

Mason is a delightful 6-month-old, 32-pound Miniature American Shepherd mix who arrived at our rescue on June 11th. He spent his first two months of puppyhood in a kennel, waiting for a chance at a loving home. When he first arrived, everything was new and a bit overwhelming, but he's made incredible progress! Now, Mason happily crates for meals, gets along wonderfully with the other dogs here, and responds to calls most of the time. He's a curious and eager pup who's excited to learn and please his people. He knows his name and also answers to "May May," "Maybe," or "Maybe Baby."

Ideal Home

Mason would do best in a home with someone experienced with young dogs or who is enthusiastic about continuing his training. He would also thrive with a confident, playful canine sibling to be his friend and mentor. A securely fenced yard is a must for him to safely burn off his puppy energy. While he might enjoy chasing a cat, we are seeking a cat-free home for him.

Ongoing Health

Mason is fully vetted and is on monthly preventatives.

Training & Support

Mason is crate trained and house trained. He's also shown himself to be trustworthy when left out of his crate during short absences. He is eager to learn and make his people proud, and he's looking for a family to continue building his confidence.

Mason is located with his foster family and can be transported to approved adopters through one of our trusted transport partners. We adopt to multiple states.
