Mookie

Mookie is an adorable 2-year-old Shih Tzu with a heart full of love to give! He's a sweet, friendly, playful, and affectionate little guy who thrives on human companionship. Mookie enjoys the company of other dogs and children, and we believe he'd be a wonderful addition to a family looking for a loyal and loving furry friend. He came to us from a hoarding situation after being owner surrendered, and while he may need a little time to adjust to a new home, his wonderful personality truly shines once he feels safe and secure.

Ideal Home

Mookie would love a home where he can be a cherished member of the family. He gets along well with other dogs and children. We have not tested him with cats.

Ongoing Health

Mookie is up-to-date on vaccinations, neutered, and tested negative for heartworm. His adoption fee includes spay/neuter (if over 3 months of age), rabies, bordetella, DHPP, and microchip.

Training & Support

Mookie is crate trained, but he will need some additional guidance to become fully housebroken. Patience and understanding will go a long way in helping him settle into his new environment.

Transportation

Mookie is located in McAllen, Texas, and can be transported to the East Coast, mainly serving the NJ, PA, CT, RI, VT, NH areas. Drop-off locations can be provided. We do not offer meet and greets, and unfortunately, we cannot provide transport to New York or Philadelphia at this time due to USDA restrictions.
