Bullseye is a 6.5-month-old, male Retriever/Pit Bull mix who currently weighs 40 pounds and is expected to be a large dog when fully grown. He's the biggest pup in the litter but also the most introverted. While his siblings cause chaos, Bullseye quietly observes until it's time for cuddles or a romp. He loves dinnertime, belly rubs, and snuggling, but he also enjoys playing and exploring. Bullseye is gentle, thoughtful, and has a calm presence. He is potty trained, though a few accidents may occur as he adjusts to a new routine. He enjoys playing with other dogs and has done well with children. He has crate experience and is building confidence with leash walking and basic obedience.
Ideal Home
Bullseye is looking for a family committed to reinforcing good manners, building his confidence, and helping him mature into an exceptional adult dog. He would do best in a home with another friendly, well-mannered dog to help mentor him. Homes without another dog should have a plan for continued socialization and training. Because he is still young, a home where someone is not routinely away for more than four to six hours at a time is preferred.
Ongoing Health
No specific health conditions are mentioned.
Training & Support
Bullseye is potty trained, but a few accidents should be expected in a new environment. He is building confidence with leash walking and basic obedience. Ongoing positive reinforcement, consistency, and continued leash practice are recommended. Socialization with new people, places, sounds, and friendly dogs is important for his development.
