Athena

Hi there! My name is Athena, and I'm a beautiful 3-year-old female German Shepherd. I'm a resilient, friendly, and smart gal who was rescued from a high-kill shelter where I was sadly being used for breeding. Thankfully, I was saved and am now looking for my forever home! I'm affectionate and love tummy rubs, playing in the yard, and going on adventures like walks, hikes, or even just exploring the neighborhood. I'm also house and kennel trained and listen pretty well, but I'm eager to continue my education with some obedience training. If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion to join you on all of life's journeys, I'm your girl!

Ideal Home

I would prefer a home with teenage or adult humans, and I get along well with large male dogs. I cannot live with cats.

Ongoing Health

All of our dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, and monthly preventatives, and are spayed or neutered.

Training & Support

I need some standard obedience training to brush up on my skills. I'm a quick learner and would love a family committed to helping me succeed!

• An application must be submitted before scheduling an appointment to meet a dog.
• Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters by appointment only.

Transportation

I am currently being fostered in Greeneville, TN. We do transport dogs to the East Coast, and a transport fee will apply.
