Mavis

Mavis is a gentle and sweet girl who was born around February 2024. She came to us when her elderly owner was evicted from her home. Despite this change, Mavis remains a friendly and loving companion, especially once she feels comfortable and secure. She enjoys attention and being close to her people. While she can be a bit reserved around new dogs, she may do well as an only dog or with another dog if introductions are slow and carefully managed by an experienced person. Mavis is learning to enjoy leash walks and crating, and she's doing wonderfully! She just needs a calm and patient environment to help her truly blossom. The bond she forms will grow stronger and deeper over time, making her a loyal and devoted friend. She deserves a safe and loving forever home where she can relax and be cherished.

Ideal Home

Mavis would do well as an only dog, or with another dog if introductions are slow and carefully managed by an experienced person. She needs a calm environment to help her feel secure. Visible fencing is required.

Training & Support

Mavis is learning to walk on a leash and enjoys her crate. She will benefit from continued patience and a calm environment as she adjusts.

Transporation

Mavis is currently in Texas. Bi-monthly transports are available to various locations, including the Northeast, Midwest, and Southeast. Transport costs vary by location.
