Scooter

Meet Scooter! What a doll. He is all bark and no bite, although he would protect you with his life. When you go inside his kennel, he forgets he ever barked at you. That is who you want on the other side of your front door, ladies! He's ready to go boot scoot'n with you! This guy is so sweet and gentle, and wants to be a lap dog! He walks great on a leash and knows "sit," especially for a treat. He even likes to ride in the car! Scooter is a senior dog at 10 years old but shows no signs of slowing down. He is more mature and willing to listen because he's been out in the world; he understands how things work and doesn't have to be taught. He does well on a leash and gets along with his fellow canines and children. Scooter weighs in at about 80 pounds, is housebroken, HW negative, and up to date on his vaccinations. He's also neutered.

Ideal Home

Scooter would like a nice backyard to run around and play in, a family to belong to, and plenty of tasty treats. He'd prefer a home without cats.

Training & Support

Scooter could use training to fine-tune some behaviors, but much of that will improve when he gets into a stable home life. He walks great on a leash and knows "sit."
