DUNCAN

Duncan is the sweetest little boy, a 1-year-old, 19-pound mix with a lot of Chihuahua! He gets along wonderfully with other dogs, loves to play with his squeaky toys, and adores receiving petting and attention. Duncan is a quiet and well-behaved pup who seems to be pretty well house-trained and walks nicely on a leash, though he could benefit from a bit more training.

Ideal Home

We do not adopt to families with children under the age of 8.

Ongoing Health

Duncan tested positive for heartworms when he was rescued and has been treated according to The American Heartworm Society protocols. We typically find that dogs test negative for heartworms within 4 to 6 months post-treatment. All our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated (including Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella, and Canine Influenza), and are on monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas/ticks, and parasites.

Training & Support

Duncan is a quiet and well-behaved boy who is pretty well house-trained and does pretty well on a leash, but could do with a little more training.
