Canela is a sweet, senior Dachshund/Chihuahua mix who has overcome a difficult past. Despite enduring years in a backyard breeding operation, her spirit remains incredibly sweet. She absolutely adores belly rubs, gentle affection, and any treat offered. Canela is now safe in a foster home in Lyndeborough, NH, and is thriving. She gets along wonderfully with the large group of dogs she lives with, but her greatest joy comes from her connections with people. She loves forming special bonds and is happy to entertain herself with toys when not snuggling beside you. Canela is spayed, fully vetted, and ready to be someone's cherished couch potato companion.
