Meet Genie!

Genie is a 9-year-old, 60 lb Heeler mix with a heart full of personality and an intellect to match. This smart cookie knows a remarkable number of commands, including sit, stay, lay down, shake, and roll over! She thrives on interaction and would be an amazing companion for anyone who loves a clever, engaged dog. Genie enjoys long walks, outdoor adventures, rolling in the grass, squeaky toys, sticks, and of course, cozy snuggles. She's a big fan of treats and trips to Buc-ees for cheese! Despite her active spirit, she's a total cuddle bug who wants to be right by your side. Genie is hoping to find a special person who recognizes her uniqueness. When she bonds with you, she'll be an incredibly devoted best friend.

Ideal Home

Genie would thrive in an adult-only home where she can be the only dog. She might coexist with a calm cat, but she is not a fit for homes with children or small animals. She needs a patient, confident adopter who understands independent dogs and will allow her to settle in at her own pace, respecting her boundaries.

Genie is a healthy girl with no known health conditions to report.

Training & Support

Genie is already potty trained and crate trained, and she walks well on a leash. She is very smart and highly trained. Her new adopter should be prepared to continue understanding her independent nature and respecting her boundaries.
