Tammy

Tammy is a sweet, shy 7-year-old, 55-pound Staffie/Terrier mix looking for her quiet forever home. She's content to spend time by herself but enjoys having people nearby and will seek out affection when she's feeling social. Tammy lives in a quiet foster home with another dog and would do best in a home with people around and at least one other dog her size or larger for company. She can occasionally be a little territorial with her personal space around smaller dogs.

Ideal Home

Tammy would thrive in a home where people are around and she has at least one resident dog of similar size or larger. She's not suited for homes with dogs smaller than her due to potential territorial issues. This also means she's not a good fit for homes with children under 9 years of age, or expectant families, due to the risk of bites.

Ongoing Health

Tammy is spayed, dewormed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and is on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives.

Training & Support

Tammy is a shy girl who is working on her confidence. She appreciates having her own space but enjoys company. Patience and understanding will go a long way in helping her settle in and show her affectionate side.
