Trix is a sweet and gentle soul who has been through a lot. She is looking for a loving and patient home where she can finally feel safe and secure. Trix is a medium-sized dog with beautiful brindle markings and soulful eyes. She is a bit shy at first, but once she warms up to you, she is incredibly affectionate and loyal. Trix enjoys quiet walks, gentle play, and cuddling on the couch. She would do best in a home with no young children or other boisterous pets, as she can be easily overwhelmed. Trix is looking for a forever family who will give her the time and space she needs to blossom.
Ideal Home
Trix would thrive in a calm and quiet home where she can feel secure. A home without young children or other energetic pets would be ideal, allowing her to adjust at her own pace.
Ongoing Health
All dogs adopted through Wags will be up to date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and heartworm negative before adoption (age appropriate). All dogs are given monthly flea/tick preventative, monthly heartworm preventative (age appropriate), and are dewormed regularly. Trix is microchipped.
Training & Support
Trix is a bit shy and may need some time to build confidence. Patience and positive reinforcement will be key to helping her settle in and show her wonderful personality.

- If you live in a rental property, a copy of your lease stating that pets are allowed will be needed.
- If you've had a pet in the last two years, please provide the previous vet's information.
- If you've never owned a pet or it's been over two years, a personal reference who can attest to your ability to care for a pet will be needed.
- We do not do same-day adoptions.
Transporation
Trix is located at our rescue center at 34 County Road 2266, Brundidge, AL 36010. We are not open to the public without an appointment. Transportation may be available to approved adopters.
