Coffee Sweets, or Cafecita as we affectionately call her, is a 59 lb bundle of joy who truly lives up to her name. She has a remarkable talent for settling in, finding the coziest spot, and instantly making herself at home with a graceful flop. But don't let her calm demeanor fool you – once she's comfortable, her silly side bursts forth! Cafecita is the ultimate welcome committee, greeting every stranger like a friend she's just waiting to meet, always with a wagging tail and a warm "hello!" She's the perfect companion for any time of day, whether you're working from home or enjoying a lazy Sunday. Cafecita recently charmed a 3-year-old friend, proving she's a gentle soul who knows how to be a sweetheart. She understands her own needs, gracefully moving to a quiet nap spot when playtime is over. We believe she's a Lab mix with a touch of something special that gives her that striking brindle coat. Cafecita is a big dog with an even bigger heart, a slightly overgrown lap dog who's ready to bring loads of happiness to her forever home.

Cafecita is incredibly adaptable and would thrive in almost any setting, from an apartment to a house with a yard. Her ideal family appreciates a dog who can switch from playtime to cuddle mode in an instant.
Ongoing Health
Cafecita is a healthy girl. Her adoption fee includes all vetting, including vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip, and heartworm preventative.
Training & Support
Cafecita is fully potty trained and crate trained, viewing her crate as her own "private den." She walks like a dream on a leash and has excellent communication skills with other dogs. She is still learning about cats and would benefit from a supervised introduction.

Transporation
Cafecita is currently located in Texas. We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick-up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
