Julieta

Julieta is a 7-year-old, 55 lb mix of German Shepherd who is ready to shower her new family with affection! She's a sociable girl who loves to play with other dogs, and she's a smart cookie who learns quickly. Julieta walks well on a leash and enjoys exploring the world through her sniffer. She's also a good listener and follows commands well, but she also loves to have fun outdoors, running and jumping. A bonus for many families: Julieta adores car rides and would make a great co-pilot for any adventure!

Ideal Home

Julieta is looking for a family with a real intention to rescue a dog, open to understanding the needs of a street animal, and experienced in dog behavior and training. She requires high tolerance and patience, as she may have been traumatized before her rescue and will need time to adjust. Because she is not house-trained, an ideal home will be prepared for this ongoing training.

Ongoing Health

Julieta has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated (DHPPI, Rabies, Bordetella), dewormed, and microchipped. She has tested negative for heartworm and received a 4DX test. She is on monthly Nexgard Spectra preventive for fleas, ticks, and heartworm. A health certificate and vaccination booklet are included.

Training & Support

Julieta is not house-trained and will require ongoing training and patience in this area. She is intelligent and listens well to commands, but may need continued guidance and positive reinforcement as she adjusts to a new home.

• A home check (virtual or in-person) and a virtual meet-and-greet will be conducted.
• A trial adoption period is offered.
• The adoption fee is finalized prior to transport and includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming, a one-month supply of flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and a health certificate.

Transporation

Julieta is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast on our next cross-country trip. Transport to the adopter's home address is available for an additional fee of $400.00, paid by the adopter prior to departure.
