Sonder

Sonder is a handsome male dog, around 1 year old and weighing 52 pounds. He's a sweet and playful boy who's much more comfortable outside of the shelter environment. Sonder arrived with muscle atrophy in his left leg, which will require lifelong medical management. He seems to really enjoy the company of other dogs!

Ideal Home

Sonder needs an active home where he can really stretch his legs and play. He would do best with slow and proper introductions to any resident dogs. We recommend he be a part of a home with children five and under.

Ongoing Health

Sonder has muscle atrophy of the left leg and will require lifelong medical management.

Training & Support

Sonder is fearful in the shelter setting, but blossoms when out of his kennel. He needs an owner who can provide him with patience and positive reinforcement to help him continue to gain confidence.
