Chicky

Chicky is a 3-year-old, 30 lb Beagle mix who has truly blossomed from a terrified stray into an affectionate and devoted pup. Found near a Chick-Fil-A, it took time and patience to gain her trust, but now she's ready to find a forever home where she can continue to feel safe and loved. She has so much devotion to give to her special person or people!

Ideal Home

Chicky would do best in a quiet home with a predictable routine and few visitors. An adopter with experience handling reactive or behaviorally sensitive dogs, who understands canine body language and how to manage introductions, would be ideal. She needs a patient household, and while young children are not a good fit, she would love to live with playful canine companions and is also great with cats!

Ongoing Health

All our dogs are vet-checked and come spayed/neutered with age-appropriate vaccines and microchips.

Training & Support

Chicky is house and kennel trained. She requires slow and thoughtful introductions to new people and will need continued confidence building.

Chicky is located in South Mississippi. Local adopters can pick her up in Gulfport, MS. Transportation is available to Pensacola for an additional fee.
