Brooklyn

Brooklyn is a 4-year-old, possibly Lab/Black Mouth Cur mix who has overcome so much to find her forever home. She was a cruelty case confiscate and suffered from back-leg weakness due to a likely spinal injury. After months in a kennel, she joined BAARK and through chiropractic care, a good diet, and strength-building exercises, Brooklyn can now walk and run on her own, even navigating stairs with ease! She's a sweet and happy girl who deserves a family to love. While she seems to prefer women, she has met many people and vet staff without issue. She's also great with other dogs of all sizes.

Ideal Home

Brooklyn would thrive in a home where she can continue to build strength and receive loving care. She has done well meeting new people and vet staff and is good with other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Brooklyn needs her bladder expressed, which is a simple procedure that her foster has found to be no big deal at all. She is on a raw diet to help build muscle strength. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm negative, and on year-round heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Brooklyn has overcome significant challenges and is a happy, resilient girl. She seems to prefer women but has shown no problems meeting new people and vet staff.
