Lainey

Meet Lainey, a beautiful girl with a heart and soul bigger than her body! Lainey was brought in as a stray in November 2025 with no known background, and she’s estimated to be around three years old. She’s currently fostered in Addison, Texas.

Lainey has bloomed under her foster’s care. Her personality is truly that of a house hippo; she sleeps with her stuffed animal babies all day long on the couch, with a short zoomies break every now and then with a chew bone, and follows the foster’s two-year-old around the house. She loves children, especially littles, and she has been dog and cat friendly! She loves long walks, and Lainey doesn’t pull on the leash at all; she stays walking right next to you. She rarely barks and is usually very quiet! Potty training is going well, and she hasn’t had an accident in a long time!

Ideal Home

Lainey can get nervous around loud/energetic dogs and will try to hide, so if her forever home has pets, she would prefer calmer ones. Loud noises from people do not affect her, nor do toddler tantrums.

Ongoing Health

Lainey is currently heartworm positive and undergoing treatment, which is fully covered by Mutts N Such Rescue.

Training & Support

Potty training is going well, and she hasn’t had an accident in a long time!
