Fluffy

Fluffy, or Fofo as she responds to, is the sweetest 2-year-old Shih Tzu you'll ever meet! Don't let her blindness fool you; she navigates her world with ease and has even mastered stairs. Fluffy came to us from the Chesapeake Shelter due to eye issues. After trying various treatments, it was determined that a double enucleation was the best option for her comfort. She's healed beautifully and hasn't let it slow her down one bit! She's a happy-go-lucky girl who loves to be a lapdog and gets along well with most dogs, especially those larger than herself. While she's unsure of cats, she gives them a wide berth and doesn't bother them. Fluffy has also shown a wonderful bond with the 3-year-old child in her foster home, happily accepting cuddles. She adjusts incredibly well to new situations and is eager to find her forever family.

Ideal Home

Fluffy would thrive in a one-story home or a home with small stairways.

Ongoing Health

Fluffy has undergone a double enucleation of her eyes and has healed wonderfully.

Training & Support

Fluffy is housebroken, provided she is let out regularly. She is not a picky eater and is quite the chow hound!
