Duncan

Duncan is the sweetest little boy, about 1 year old and weighing 19 lbs. His DNA shows him to be a typical multiple breed mix with a lot of Chihuahua! He gets along with all the other dogs, loves to play with his squeaky toys, and adores petting and lots of attention. Duncan is a quiet and well-behaved pup, seems to be pretty well house-trained, and does pretty well on a leash, though he could use a little more training.

Ideal Home

We do not adopt to anyone with children under the age of 8 years.

Ongoing Health

Duncan tested positive for heartworms when he was rescued. He has been treated with The American Heartworm Society protocols, and we usually find that dogs test negative in 4 to 6 months. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated (including Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella, and Canine Influenza), and are on monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas/ticks, and parasites.

Training & Support

Duncan is pretty well house-trained and does pretty good on a leash, but could do with a little more training.
