Meet Ashton, a handsome 4-year-old Yellow Labrador Retriever weighing 88 pounds. Ashton is a bundle of joy and energy who found himself back at the shelter due to his family moving. He's adjusted remarkably well, maintaining his happy-go-lucky spirit despite the big change.

Ashton is a true fetch enthusiast, always ready to bring the ball back for another round! He thrives on activity and cherishes time spent with his favorite humans. While he's a strong boy who sometimes forgets his size, his sweetness shines through. He's also shown he can get along with other dogs. Ashton is a large dog with an equally large and wonderful personality!

Ongoing Health

Ashton is currently heartworm positive and will be treated at the shelter. His future family will need to be committed to continuing his monthly heartworm prevention and ensuring he receives regular veterinary care to keep him healthy and happy.

Training & Support

Ashton is a big dog who can sometimes be unaware of his own strength. Continued positive reinforcement and guidance will help him continue to be the wonderful companion he is.
