Rusty is a bright, beautiful, and loving 2-year-old Aussie/Cattle Dog mix. She is smart, curious, and happiest exploring or relaxing in a yard. Rusty is shy while building confidence outside her foster home, but she has made great strides and enjoys visiting dog-friendly stores for treats. She loves other dogs and playing with her foster brothers.

Ideal Home

Rusty is looking for:

• A family with breed experience and experience helping shy dogs build confidence
• A home that is not an apartment

Ongoing Health

Her $575 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, a heartworm test if applicable, microchip registration, and a health certificate. Adoption fees support the care of the rescue’s dogs and may be tax deductible because the organization is a 501(c)(3).

Training & Support

Rusty is very smart, learns quickly, and can become bored easily. She takes cues from her foster brothers and is continuing to build confidence outside her foster home and yard.
