VELVETA

Velveta is a complete sweetheart who will melt your heart with her eyes and win you over with her always wagging tail. She may be considered a “senior” dog at the age of 7 years, but she is spunky and the perfect companion. She loves every person she’s ever met, including the mailman. She is calm and gentle around people, and very patient with handling. She has enjoyed attention from children ages 6 years and up and from an 88 year old senior, and everyone in between. She hasn’t had a chance to meet younger children yet, but she was not bothered at all when around a cane and walker. If you’re looking for a sweet, mature girl to share your home and affection with, Velveta is for you!

Ideal Home

Velveta would do best in a house where she is the only dog, or where the other dog is neutral and won’t react to her. She has not had a chance to meet younger children yet.

Velveta is crate-trained and potty-trained. She knows “sit” and listens to corrections. She is well-mannered in the house and enjoys spending time both inside and outside.
