Brooklyn Cherry is believed to be a Shepherd mix, approximately 1-2 years old and currently weighs 60 lbs. Her breed is a mystery, but we see hints of Rhodesian Ridgeback, German Shepherd, and maybe even Great Dane!
Ideal Home
Brooklyn would do best in a home with a moderately playful dog who enjoys both active play and relaxing companionship. If you don't have other dogs, that's okay too! She's happy to be a solo dog and would love to be the center of your world. Her dream home includes a big backyard where she can stretch her legs, explore, and enjoy the sunshine. A semi-active family who enjoys hikes and wants a snuggly companion after adventures would be a perfect fit.

Training & Support
Brooklyn is fully potty and crate trained, and a quick learner. She knows basic commands like sit, shake, and down, and has a pretty decent recall. She walks well on a leash but can pull occasionally out of excitement. With the right training and guidance, she's eager to learn even more and would make a fantastic adventure and running partner.

Brooklyn is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. This includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). There is an $87 surcharge for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
