About Tuxie

Proof You Can Be Handsome and Humble

Tuxie is a 1-year-old, 50 lbs mixed breed boy who was rescued straight off the streets of Houston. He's a gentleman who enjoys snuggling and napping, but also has plenty of puppy energy. Tuxie is a social butterfly and makes friends easily with every dog he meets, including his two foster siblings. He's smart, eager to please, and is learning new tricks quickly, such as "sit" and leash manners. Tuxie has a prey drive that says "no thanks" to small animals and cats, but he is otherwise a well-behaved boy who is fully potty-trained and rarely barks. He's looking for a companion who is equal parts sweetheart, shadow, and sidekick, and who appreciates a balance of playtime and peace.

Ideal Home

Tuxie would thrive in a home with another friendly dog and humans who appreciate a good balance of playtime and peace. He is best suited for a home with children 10 years and over.
