Hi there! My name is Arty, and I'm an 11-month-old, 45-lb female Pit Mix with the sweetest soul. I'm the perfect blend of affectionate and independent – I love cozy snuggles just as much as having my own quiet time to relax. Some of my favorite things include belly rubs, walks, tug-of-war, chew toys, squeaky toys, and romping around with other dogs! I haven't met any cats in my foster home yet, but I can absolutely be cat-tested if needed. I got to meet some kids at an adoption event recently and I did wonderfully with them! I also behaved myself beautifully and walked well on leash, even though it was busy! I do have one small quirk: I prefer a little personal space when I'm laying down and don't love faces being right up in mine – boundaries are important, after all! I'm fully potty trained and crate trained, which means I already have great house manners and make an excellent house guest.
