Let me introduce you to Roxie! Roxie and her sister, Lucy, are a bonded pair of sweethearts, believed to be a mix of Blue Heeler and Australian Shepherd. They were rescued from a difficult situation as part of a litter of 11 pups and have been cherished members of their current family since December 2018. Roxie is the more adventurous of the two sisters, always ready to watch the world go by from the back porch, especially if there's a squirrel to be spotted! She’s excellent with children and, after a brief bark at newcomers, quickly warms up to receive pets and attention.

Ideal Home

Roxie would love to find a home where she can either stay with her sister, Lucy, or thrive as an individual companion. A fenced yard is required to keep her safe and happy.

Ongoing Health

Roxie is a healthy girl who recently had her annual wellness checkup. She is up-to-date on her rabies, Bordetella, and lepto vaccines. She is on Heartgard for heartworm prevention and wears a Seresto collar for flea and tick control. Roxie weighs approximately 63 lbs.

Training & Support

Roxie is a smart and responsive pup who has had training at the Little Rock Dog Club. She is house-trained and has never chewed inappropriate items inside the home, though she does enjoy occasionally chewing on landscaping irrigation spikes. She is accustomed to sleeping on a dog bed in the bedroom.

• The adoption donation is $250 individually or $300 for both Roxie and Lucy.
