Proof You Can Be Handsome and Humble
Meet Tuxie, a dapper 1-year-old mixed breed weighing in at 50 lbs. Tuxie might sound like he should be serving cocktails at a fancy party, but this gentleman is more of a “Netflix and nap” kind of guy. He’s got that black-and-white formal wear, sure, but he uses it mostly for snuggling, not schmoozing. Tuxie was rescued straight off the streets of Houston and walked right into foster life like he’d been born for it — tail wagging, heart open, and already fluent in “good boy.” He’s the kind of pup who makes friends like it’s his job: confident, gentle, and instantly social with every dog he meets. He’s got two foster siblings (a golden and a pit) who think he’s the best roommate ever, and honestly, they’re not wrong. Tuxie has an old soul wrapped in puppy energy — smart, eager to please, and picking up new tricks faster than you can find your shoes. He’s learning leash manners, sit, fetch, and how to be an all-around gentleman. Just don’t expect him to share snacks with squirrels — his prey drive says “no thanks” to small animals and cats. He’s happiest in a home with another friendly dog and humans who appreciate a good balance of playtime and peace. He’s fully potty-trained, rarely barks, and will happily trade belly rubs for loyalty that lasts a lifetime. If you’re looking for a companion who’s equal parts sweetheart, shadow, and sidekick — a pup who makes ordinary days feel a little lighter — then Tuxie might just be your guy.
Ideal Home

Homes with children 10 years and over are recommended to ensure the best fit for both the pets and families involved.
