Mabel is a 2.5-year-old, 64-pound Pit Bull mix who is spayed and vaccinated. She was found abandoned but has a heart full of love to give and is ready to find her forever home. Mabel is a people-pleaser who loves to snuggle, give kisses, and soak up all the attention. She's also great with kids and has shown particular gentleness and patience with an autistic child in her foster home. Mabel enjoys playing with other medium to large dogs, though she can get a bit overexcited during playtime and is still learning to moderate her energy. She's also working on her leash manners, getting excited when she sees other dogs. Mabel is content to relax near her humans and doesn't have any destructive behaviors when left unsupervised. She prefers to sleep cuddled up with her people and isn't a fan of crates.
Ideal Home
Mabel would thrive in a home filled with love, cuddles, and comfortable spots for snuggling. She would likely do well with a playful, tolerant dog companion or as the sole canine in a household. She would likely do best in a home without cats.
Ongoing Health
