Rum

Rum is a gorgeous 1-year-old mix weighing approximately 35 lbs. While her exact breed is unknown, she's a full-grown girl with a beautiful spotted coat, possibly a mix of pointer, heeler, beagle, and Dalmatian. Rum was found with her sister, Tequila, and although they aren't bonded, they share a striking resemblance and a sweet, go-with-the-flow personality. She's a playful and energetic girl who was found behind a liquor store with her mom and sibling, earning her a fittingly spirited name.

Ideal Home

Rum would be fantastic in an active home where she can explore and play. She loves children of all ages and would also thrive in a home with or without other dogs, as she gets along with all sizes. Rum has also been introduced to cats and ignores them, showing no prey drive, so she can likely live happily with feline friends with proper introductions.

Ongoing Health

Rum is spayed, heartworm negative, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, flea/tick, and heartworm prevention, microchipped, and current on dewormer. She will receive a clean bill of health from a licensed veterinarian prior to transport.

Training & Support

Rum is crate trained, house trained, and walks well on a leash. She also rides happily in the car, making her a great adventure buddy! As she is more active and playful, a home that can match her energy will help her succeed.

Transportation

Rum is currently located in Texas. Transport is provided to the Central US and East Coast every 2-3 weeks. This includes locations in NY, VT, CT, OH, PA, NJ, MD, and VA. The adoption fee includes transport.
