Gretchen is a sweet 3-year-old Lab/Hound mix who's ready to find her forever home! She weighs about 65 lbs and is currently on a diet to help her shed a few pounds, as she enjoys snacking from other dogs' bowls. Gretchen was rescued with her sister from a rural farm where she had the freedom to roam but unfortunately lacked early socialization, making her a bit timid. She gets along well with other dogs and has experience with cats. While she's not aggressive towards men, she is scared of them and would do best in a quiet home, and tends to prefer women.

Gretchen would thrive in a quiet home environment. She's shown to do well with other dogs and has been around cats.

Ongoing Health

Gretchen is currently on a diet to lose a few pounds. Her adoption donation includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormings, rabies vaccine, and spay.

Training & Support

Due to a lack of early socialization, Gretchen can be timid. She needs a patient and understanding family to help her build confidence, especially around men.
