Carter

Carter is a young adult Lhasa Apso mix male who is absolutely adorable, but can definitely be spicy at times. It takes some time and patience to earn his trust, but it will surely be worth it for the right adopter. Carter has made great progress in his foster home, but it has taken time and patience. He is looking for an adopter who is willing and able to help him continue learning how to be his best self. He gets along great with other small dogs.

Training & Support

Carter is crate trained and knows the "sit" command. He walks nicely on a leash. He sometimes doesn’t want to be handled, so grooming can be a challenge.

• The adoption fee of $340 covers all vetting, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, heartworm test and treatment if needed, and any other medical required while in rescue.
