Mocha

Meet Mocha! This handsome three-and-a-half-year-old Doberman/Golden Retriever mix weighs in at a sturdy 80 pounds and is ready to fill your life with warmth and devotion. Mocha is a magnificent blend of loyalty, intelligence, and playful charm, all wrapped up in a stunning black and tan coat. He's convinced he's a lap dog and loves to snuggle! Mocha enjoys playing in the backyard, chasing his favorite toys, and being a great pal to his smaller canine sibling. He's house-trained, neutered, microchipped, and knows commands like "sit," "lie down," "go," and "go to sleep." His daily routine includes two meals, plenty of playtime, and lots of love!

Ideal Home

Mocha is a gentle soul at home and does wonderfully with older children and familiar guests. He can be a bit cautious around new adults, so he'll need a calm home where his new caregiver can guide him through new experiences with slow, structured introductions. He once reacted protectively to a surprise visitor, showing more bark than bite, which highlights his need for thoughtful management during greetings and transitions.

Training & Support

Mocha can be a bit of a puller on the leash when excited during walks, especially when he encounters other dogs. He's eager and strong but not reactive or noisy. Some leash training and consistent daily exercise will help him become an excellent walking companion.
