Run, don't walk to snatch up this incredibly sweet boy! Onyx Baby is a 7-month-old, 33 lb pittie mix with a personality that's nothing short of the absolute best. His adorable puppy-dog face, soulful eyes, and perfect floppy ears are sure to melt your heart. He's a true prince who loves to follow his foster siblings around and we believe he would be happiest with another dog in the home. Onyx was also respectful and appropriate when meeting the resident cat, and we are happy to arrange a sleepover to ensure a good fit! He's already mastering basic commands like "sit" and is a gentle treat-taker, eager to please and a smart cookie, making any future training a fun bonding experience. Onyx is crate trained and is mostly potty trained, though he may have an occasional accident if left alone for extended periods.
Ideal Home
Onyx would thrive in a home with a backyard for romping and playing, but he's equally happy being a couch potato for movie marathon snuggles. We haven't seen Onyx around children yet, but we are happy to test him and believe he would make a wonderful family dog.
Ongoing Health
Onyx Baby is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injection, heartworm test and treatment if needed, and a microchip with free lifetime registration.
Training & Support
Onyx knows "sit" and is gentle when taking treats. He is crate trained and mostly potty trained, but may have occasional accidents if left alone for long hours.

Transportation
We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Transport is available to drop off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT.
