Meet Bessie, a delightful and utterly unique puppy who's as charming as she is mysterious! Bessie arrived as a Pyrenees mix, though her true heritage is a delightful puzzle. What we do know is that she is an absolute sweetheart, committed to showering everyone she meets with love.
At 18 weeks old, Bessie is a social butterfly, brimming with sweetness and intelligence. She's quick to learn, eager to please, and already a pro at crate training. Bessie is currently mastering her puppy manners, which involves a lot of enthusiastic participation and a touch of selective hearing – all part of the puppy charm! She's wonderful with people, great with kids, and respectful towards cats. Her happy, goofy energy is infectious and guaranteed to brighten even the dullest of days. While her breed is a mystery, her funny, affectionate, and clever personality is undeniable, and she's sure to bring immense joy to her forever family.
Ideal Home
A home prepared for the joys and challenges of raising a puppy. Bessie would thrive in an environment that understands the commitment and patience required for puppyhood.
Ongoing Health
Bessie is a healthy puppy. As with all puppies, she will need to continue her vaccination schedule and regular vet check-ups.
Training & Support
Bessie is crate trained and eager to please, but still working on general puppy manners, which require consistent reinforcement. Potential adopters should be prepared for the commitment of puppy-raising, including flexible schedules for potty training (puppies can only hold it for one hour per month of age), continued crate training until at least one year old to prevent chewing, and extensive socialization. Remember, raising a puppy is akin to raising a human toddler; it takes patience, positive experiences, appropriate toys, and obedience training over at least the first year to ensure a well-adjusted dog.
