Elmo

Elmo is a charming 10-month-old Great Pyrenees mix with a heart full of resilience and a spirit ready for a loving home. He joined us after sustaining a hip injury, but the bullet lodged near his spine has since encapsulated and is best left undisturbed, according to specialists. This condition doesn't slow him down, and he's expected to live a long, happy, and comfortable life!

Ideal Home

Elmo would do best in a home that understands he's not built for extreme sports like intense leaping or climbing. While he enjoys his walks and playtime, he'd prefer a calm environment to relax. He's good with other dogs and loves people. He hasn't lived with cats but showed mild interest, so a dog-savvy feline might be a good fit. Elmo would thrive with children over 10 or sturdy kids who understand his medical needs and won't treat him like a pony. He needs a home that appreciates a wonderful companion who doesn't need to be an adventure athlete.

Ongoing Health

Elmo has a bullet lodged near his spine that is encapsulated and does not require removal. He is otherwise healthy and comfortable.

Training & Support

Elmo is a young dog who will continue to grow. He enjoys his people and his canine friends. A soft bed is a must for this sweet boy!
