Meet Johnny A-Aron!
Johnny is a 5-6 month old puppy with a heart much bigger than his paws. While most puppies his age were busy learning about toys, couches, and how to charm their humans into giving extra treats, Johnny spent two months of his young life waiting in a rural shelter. Thankfully, those days are behind him, and he's making up for lost time. Johnny is sweet, playful, and full of love. He wakes up every day ready for adventure and is quickly learning what it means to be a cherished family dog.
One thing we've learned about Johnny is that he takes neighborhood wildlife very seriously. He loves watching critters outside, points at them like a little hunting dog, and would happily volunteer to chase every wild rabbit in Myakka if given the opportunity. We have a feeling there may be a little hunting dog somewhere in his family tree! Johnny is also a certified Velcro dog. He loves being close to his people and will happily follow you from room to room just to be part of whatever you're doing. Whether it's riding in the car, hanging out on the couch, or joining you on your daily adventures, Johnny wants to be right by your side. He's learning fast, eager to please, and has that perfect combination of goofy puppy energy and sweet affection.
Ideal Home
Johnny is a dog-friendly and kid-friendly puppy who enjoys car rides. He would likely do well in a home that can provide him with plenty of opportunities for adventure and companionship.

Johnny has been neutered and vaccinated.
Training & Support
Johnny is house-trained and crate-trained. He is eager to please and learning fast, making him a great candidate for continued training and support.
