Huichol

Huichol is a Mexi-Mix breed, sweet, tenderhearted puppy with the most charming face. He may be shy at first with people and dogs, but with patience he blossoms into a playful, affectionate companion truly a big baby at heart. Huichol was born in foster care after his mother was rescued while pregnant. Now he and his sisters are ready to find loving families.

Huichol is waiting for someone who will give him the time and love he needs to shine. We anticipate he will be medium size but we do not know his father.

This pup is from a small local rescue in Mexico that isn't on Petfinder. We help them by listing their dogs. If you're interested, please submit an application and we will forward it on to the rescue for review.



Adoption process:

The rescue is located near Bucerias Mexico. We use Petfinder to reach a greater audience for our dogs and adopt the majority of our dogs to the US and Canada.

If your application is approved the adoption coordinator will collaborate with flight companions (flight angels) flying from Puerto Vallarta to an airport close to you. It is an easy process.

-It can be challenging to secure Canadian flight angels during summer months so dogs may need to fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border if a Canadian flight angel is unavailable.

We have successfully completed many adoptions over the summer with volunteers helping to bring dogs to their adopters at the border this remains a great option to keep adoptions moving forward.
