Duque is a handsome 4-year-old English Shepherd mix with a striking black and white coat. He's around 42 lbs and has a friendly, loving personality. Duque adapts quickly to new people and places and enjoys being petted and spending quality time with his family. He especially loves going for walks and staying active. Duque is potty trained and leash trained, making him a well-balanced companion ready to find a loving home.
Ideal Home
- A home with a fenced backyard.
- An active family that enjoys outdoor activities.
- A family with a genuine intention to rescue and is open to understanding the needs of rescued animals, including providing protection and education.
- Experience in dog behavior and training, or a willingness to hire a professional trainer.
- High tolerance and patience for rescued dogs.
- Duque is NOT house-trained.

Training & Support
Duque is not house-trained. It's important to understand that rescued dogs may require an adjustment period due to past experiences. Patience, a safe and loving environment, and establishing a routine are crucial for building trust and helping Duque feel secure.

Transportation
Duque is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast on our next cross-country trip. We offer door-to-door delivery through a partnered transport company. This service includes regular updates during the journey, and a final home review upon arrival. There is a one-time transport fee of $400 USD.
