About Hector
Meet Hector!
- Affectionate Velcro dog who loves cuddles and sleeping close to his person
- Dog friendly and thrives with other small, confident dogs
- Gentle with people and has shown no aggression
- Good with children, though he may bark at strangers until he feels safe
- Good potty manners in foster home. Routine is key.
- Uses an indoor potty pad area when needed
- Crate trained for mealtimes
- Enjoys walks, chew bones, and taking treats gently
- Excellent car rider
- Easy to bathe and groom
Things to know:
- Experiences separation anxiety and would do best in a home where someone is home often
- A friendly, confident small dog is strongly recommended to help him build confidence and provide companionship
- Can be vocal with unfamiliar people because he's fearful, but he settles once he knows he's safe
- A little picky about food and would love a family willing to tempt him with tasty homemade meals while he gains weight
Hector is looking for a family that will welcome him as a true member of the household. If you're searching for a loyal shadow who will happily follow you everywhere and shower you with love, Hector is ready to be your best friend.
