About COSTATA

Costata is a stunning girl who truly shines once she feels safe and loved. Shelter life was a bit much for her, but in a foster home, she blossomed into a playful, affectionate, and well-mannered companion who is ready to find her forever family. She's crate trained, mostly house-trained with a routine, and knows commands like "sit," "shake," "lay down," "off," and "place." Costata is a treat-motivated learner and eager to pick up even more skills!

She enjoys the company of other dogs and gains confidence from having a canine friend, though it's not a requirement for her new home. She also gets along well with cats. Costata can be a little timid around new people due to her past, so she needs a patient family who will allow her to adjust at her own pace. She would do best in a home without men or young children. Once she trusts you, she becomes incredibly loyal and loves to be by your side, whether it's for couch cuddles, playing fetch, or just quiet companionship. She has wonderful house manners and would fit well into a home that enjoys a balance of activity and relaxation.

Ideal Home

Costata needs a patient family willing to let her settle in at her own pace. She would do best in a home without men or young children.

Ongoing Health

Any vaccinations or boosters due after adoption is finalized will be the new owner's responsibility. All animals are current at the time of adoption, but in some cases, a booster series is required or a vaccine cannot be given due to age and cannot be completed prior to adoption.

Training & Support

Costata is crate trained and mostly house-trained with a consistent schedule. She knows several commands and is eager to learn more, especially with treats!
