About Coraline
Coraline is a sweet, laid-back 6-month-old Doberman or Beauceron mix, currently weighing 45 lbs and estimated to reach 85-90 lbs when fully grown. She's a delightful blend of sweet, curious, silly, and cuddly, always ready to entertain with her quirky charm. Coraline adores a game of peek-a-boo and will enthusiastically zoom around with joy when you play along. She's a people-oriented pup who loves to be by your side, following you around like a shadow without being overly demanding. Her affection is shown through gentle puppy kisses or a soft paw on your leg. Coraline has a wonderfully calm and balanced temperament, making her an excellent work-from-home companion. She's happy to entertain herself with a toy or chew, and she's incredibly social with both people and other dogs, greeting them with a calm curiosity. Coraline is the perfect combination of playful yet laid-back, independent yet loving, and goofy yet intuitive – your ultimate sidekick, shadow, and best friend.
Ideal Home
Coraline is low to medium energy, with short bursts of puppy zoomies. She'd thrive in a home that enjoys a mix of adventure and relaxation, from leisurely walks to cozy evenings on the couch. She loves puzzle toys and would be thrilled with a monthly toy subscription box. Coraline would benefit from a family that understands she's still gaining confidence in busy public areas; with more exposure and socialization, she'll become an amazing outdoor adventure buddy. She needs a home with a fenced yard for play and sunbathing. No apartments or condos due to potential noise sensitivity. She thrives with another dog and would do well with older children who understand her size.
Ongoing Health
Coraline is up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, has been spayed, microchipped, and is current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. She has a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian and has received any necessary vet care while in rescue.
Training & Support
Coraline is potty trained and kennel trained. She is still working on leash training and gaining confidence on walks, but she is treat-motivated and eager to please. She alerts her foster mom when she needs to go outside by pacing at the back door and can use a doggy door. She needs to be taken out every 3-4 hours initially to establish a consistent routine. A doggy doorbell is recommended if a doggy door is not available.
