Captain Blue Eye-4680 Milledgeville, Georgia

Captain Blue Eye, or "Capo" as he's affectionately known, is a handsome 7-year-old, 29 lb. purebred Boston Terrier with one striking blue eye. He's a sweet boy who absolutely adores people! Capo was rescued with his former breeding partner and has a history of being a bit of a toy thief from a resident Boston, and he's also defended himself when the female dog picked fights.

Ideal Home

Capo would do well in a home with one or two other dogs of similar size, provided they are submissive. He'll need some quiet time to decompress before introductions to new canine friends. He loves playing in water, so access to a kiddie pool or sprinklers would be a bonus! Please note, Capo does not get along with small dogs. He needs to avoid strenuous activity in the heat due to his breathing, preferring cooler times of the day for his zoomies.

Ongoing Health

Capo has been treated for heartworm disease and is now heartworm negative. He has seen a cardiologist and thankfully, there is no residual heart damage from his infection. He is neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on all vaccinations, and is on heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Capo is house-trained but does mark indoors, so he'll need to wear a belly band while inside. He's known to enjoy playtime and gets along well with the male dogs in his foster home.
