Introducing Cookie! This affectionate and loving 1.5-year-old, 67lb girl is a delightful mix of Labrador Retriever and Doberman, boasting gorgeous, soulful eyes. Cookie is a super smart pup who already knows how to sit and give paw. Her food-motivated nature makes training a joy! She’s an enthusiastic girl with a sweet puppy spirit, always ready for some fun. While she loves to cuddle after playtime with her foster siblings, she’s never met a dog or human she didn’t instantly adore. Cookie is a survivor, having bravely endured devastating floods in the Rio Grande Valley for three days before being rescued. Despite her past, she's ready to shower her forever family with love.

Ideal Home

Cookie would thrive in a home with a fenced-in yard where she can play freely. A canine sibling or plenty of opportunities for doggie playdates would be a huge bonus! Due to her size and exuberance, a home without small children or cats is recommended.

Ongoing Health

Cookie is a healthy girl who has been spayed and is up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Cookie is fully potty trained and crate trained. She has limited leash experience but is a wonderful listener and highly treat-motivated, making leash training straightforward. As she is still learning to manage her size and strength, continued guidance with dog and human introductions will help her succeed.
