GUS- Needs a foster/forever home!

Gus is a handsome Shepherd/Husky mix who was found as a stray in Detroit. Despite the cold weather, he was incredibly happy to be found and is now safe, warm, and loved. Gus is about 4 years old and is looking for a foster or forever home.

Ideal Home

Gus needs a totally enclosed fenced yard where he can safely run, play, and hang out with his people. He may be okay with other dogs after a slow introduction, but his compatibility with cats is unknown. He would do best in a home with children 7 years old or older.

Ongoing Health

Gus was found to be heartworm positive and has completed his treatment. He will require monthly heartworm preventative for the rest of his life. He also had surgery on one eye to correct entropion.

Training & Support

Gus is crate-trained. We require all our dogs over the age of 1 year to attend one obedience class (6-week session) outside the home.
