Meet Brownie, the sweet Border Collie looking for his fresh start! This handsome boy is approximately 2 years old and weighs around 35 pounds, making him the perfect medium-sized companion. Brownie was heartbreakingly found abandoned at a local farmers market, but despite his past, he hasn't lost his loving nature towards people. He's a smart, attentive boy who is eager to please, just like most Border Collies!
Ideal Home
Brownie is looking for a family that will give him the love, stability, and forever home he's always deserved. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and children.
Ongoing Health
Brownie has been neutered and is currently undergoing treatment for heartworms using the slow-kill method. He has completed his 30-day course of doxycycline and received his ProHeart 12 injection. To continue his treatment, he will need to remain on Advantage Multi or NexGard PLUS, and his rescue will provide the next six months of prevention.
Training & Support
Brownie is crate trained and house trained. He is currently learning his basic commands, and his eagerness to please makes him a fantastic candidate for continued training.

Brownie is in a foster home located in Ft Worth, TX. Transport is arranged for post-adoption, and the adoption contribution covers this cost. The transport company is K9 Delivery LLC. Please check their transport route and nearest pickup location before committing to ensure you can make the drive to the designated pickup point.
